  1. Hi I have an MS290 (among other Stihl models) that I have trouble starting when warm. Invariably the plug is soaked when I remove it. This saw has been to a local Stihl dealership as I had some other problems with it previously. They replaced the carb and that didn't work so the decided that the engine needed replacing??? Anyway by the time they had finished I could have bought a new head. Since I got it back from them -last year- everytime I come to use it this problem arises. I have four other Stihl chainsaws and have had for the last 30 odd years- in fact an old 038AV is more reliable! Two questions please (a.0 any solution? and (b) can anyone recommend a skilled Stihl engineer in the Goole/ Howden area. I am not taking it back to the people who had it last time as they are useless. thanks in advance
