  1. Thanks for your reply. I’ve been told by a local wood turner that considering it’s so large it won’t dry for around 2 years but that wood turners will need it dry and not green! If you would like any of it or know anyone who would I’d be grateful if you could let me know! (BTW your bowl/vase is beautiful!)
  2. Thanks for your message. We have two large pieces which are 240cm and 220cm long and c65cm diameter, and lots of smaller ones which are 100-110cm long and c 55cm diameter. We also have one v large but thin slab which is 85cm diameter and about 20cm thick. I’ve attached some photos. Any other questions, please ask!
  3. Thanks all. I understood wood turners really like it because it has very interesting whorls. It needs a while to season so it’s ready for turning. It’s already had a year so hopefully well on it’s way!
  4. Our lovely Monkey Puzzle tree was felled about a year ago (it had sadly died) and we now have a few c. 10ft lengths and some smaller pieces in our carport. If you would be interested in them please let me know - offers considered! We live in Milton Keynes (MK11). Any questions please ask!
  5. Fab - thank you I’ll take a look!
  6. Thanks very much - I have sent you a message. The diameter is rough 90cm.
  7. We have a very large (c 60ft high) Monkey Puzzle tree which has died and will be felled at the end of March 2020. It would be a real shame for the wood to go to waste. Has anyone recently sold the timber of a Monkey Puzzle tree and knows the going rate please? Please let me know if you are interested in buying the timber - either in pieces for turning or milled - or know someone that might be! We live in Milton Keynes.
