I’ve picked up these two sorry looking specimens from the back of a nursery for £20 each, the tallest being around 15ft high. Hoping they will establish and bush up once in the ground, they need the lower limbs taking off as many have died.
My question is I was planning on planting them at the bottom of our garden, well away from any houses approximately 80ft. I would also plant about 3 / 4 meters in from the side boundary. We have a lovely view over the countryside at the back and the idea is as they grow to remove the lowers limbs so we will be looking trough the trees to the view beyond. Would the space we have be suitable in your professional opinion for two large Scots pine?
Garden is a work in progress as you can see but the red lines I’ve drawn are approximately where I was thinking ok planting.

Thanks! I’m hoping they will take after being in pots all this time so that’s reassuring to read, they must be pretty tough as they had both fallen over in the nursery and had last years brambles and weeds growing through them so had been on the floor for at least a year , plus no watering or care and they were still alive when I found them!
