  1. Light. Yes! Frequent. I’ll be there at least once a week on days that are not to busy. Can leave on site as long as I want I have access to locked gated yard as well. One single track but given permission to make others if needed. The area I have been given needs some thinning and all windblown removed.
  2. Have been given access to about 200 acres of woodland to manage. (99% Silver Birch) Looking for ideas on the type of machines people are using to haul out felled trees. A lot of windblown to deal with but I would imagine 2 or 3 hundred tonne to remove. No time limit to the work. Just looking for ideas. Was thinking a Avant or some type of gator style 4x4. Any help would be appreciated. Steve
  3. I also never ran the combo as due to the fitting issue (thank god)
  4. @RobD can yo message me with the correct spacer and sprocket and I’ll order from you tonight. And thank you for the info “if you’re not making mistakes your not learning” has always been my motto!!
  5. Will take some more picture tomorrow. Once again thanks for the superior knowledge.
  6. Thanks all. I’ll check tomorrow and measure the mounts. I’ve always just searched on this site. Thanks for all the help and assistance I’ll contact Rob tomorrow. Cheers for the help.
  7. Nope! I told you I was new to the game! Thanks for the help htb. Saved me fiddling around for hours. Will get the new sprocket tomorrow. Your a star ⭐️
  8. I’m new to this game. A couple of years now and I find myself needing a larger bar for some big beech, oak and lime trees. I have a Sthil 064AV and have purchased what I thought would just be a straight replacement for this saw. It wouldn’t be used a lot as I have other mid sized saws that do most of the work I do. My question is why won’t the following item fit straight on to my 064? Stihl .404 .063 Rollomatic ES chainsaw bar (36 inch bar) Stihl Chain 36" 90cm .404" 1.6mm Rapid Super RS when on on there’s a lot of slack in the chain and no more movement in the adjuster. any help would be superb Steve
