Neat idea, but there are no targets, so why are you lowering, just drop it ?
Also, why is it being felled?
It's dead, and leaning into the road

I'm working over a road, need to swing into farm field and need a quick release, I think I'm going to just twin rope it with a slip not.

Hi guys, I've been looking and looking but I can't find anything that I could lower a branch with that would self release once its on the ground if I'm working on my own. The best I've come up with is a slip knot but it would require one rope with two lines. Is there a device for such a thing?
Many thanks in advance for replies.
