  1. Within the Tandridge District area!
  2. Hi Paul, Brilliant, thank you. Will have a look through! Cheers!
  3. Thank you all this is all very useful. I just now need to find some sort of document that says: Ash = £x Per ton Oak = £x Per ton etc And then I can work the weight from the volume and thus the price. I’m probably doing this backwards I know!
  4. Yeah, we’ve had a number of people that have seen the cords stacked and fancy a bit of cutting and splitting themselves, which we’re more than happy to accomated!
  5. We’re based in Surrey, selling direct to the end user and both depending on whether the customer would like to cut and season there own wood or cut and burn at their pleasure.
  6. Gotcha. From here, is there a guide/current value on what a species or hardwood/softwood is worth per cubic meter? Appologise if this seems like obvious/dumb questions.
  7. Hi Steve, Thanks for the prompt reply! We cut and stack our wood in cords within our woodland for ease of processing. So if there’s a calculation to work out the value in cubic meters, I can always convert than into the cord wood value? Is there a standard method to calculate the value in cubic meters? cheers!
  8. Hello All! Long time lurker, first time poster. Im looking for a bit of help/advice on how to calculator the price of cord wood (cut at 4ft x 4ft x 8ft). I understand this can vary from Hardwoods/Softwods and unseasoned and seasoned wood but don’t know how to get to the final price of; 1 cord of x hardwood = £x seasoned and £x unseasoned. Is there a “standard” on how to reach this? Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
