An exciting role has become available for a skilled and experienced Tutor in Land-Based Learning to join our Horticulture Department within the Guildford College Group.
This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Merrist Wood campus, with a salary of £23,547 - £35,553 per annum.

Main Purpose of the Role
To deliver education and training to students at the College in a range of Land Based subjects at levels 1 to 3
To act as Programme Manager for specific courses
To act as Personal Tutor to identified students
Principal Accountabilities
Deliver high quality lessons in accordance with the college’s Teaching, Learning and Assessment Strategy, using the class profile to differentiate learning
Develop appropriate, engaging resources which can be accessed by students and colleagues on the College VLE
Personal Specification
Experience as a teacher for students aged 16 to 18
Significant levels of relevant industry experience in the land based sector
Qualifications
A professional qualification at Level 4 or above
A recognised teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or willingness to undertake such a teaching qualification
