  1. Hi All I'm new to this forum and new to pole saws, but i can see to advantages to having one. There are 2 makes and models I have narrowed it down and they are the Efco ptx 2710 and the Echo PTT 265. I would easily purchase without hesitation an Echo PTT 280 but this in not for sale in Europe due to not having been granted an EC stamp on these pole saws (that's what I was told on the echo helpline) so the only option is the 265. What do you guys say would be the best purchase out of the two of these machines. What I like about the Echo is there are plenty of places to get them serviced. The bar is 12"compared to the Efco 10". looks like it's equipt with a comfy D handle. What I think may be an issue is if the Echo's 25cc engine is underpowered? What I like with the Efco PTX 2700 On the other hand is the 27cc engine. The muti angle adjustable cutting head. Comes in a fantastic Ferrari red plastic just as most Italian things do. Issue is where could I get parts/service here in the UK. The bar is only 10 inches. Thanks for any advise.
