That’s what I needed to hear. Knowing it’s lasted you a while and not in pieces is enough for me. I’ll see the lads and make an order Monday. Its 275.00 New Zealand Dollar over here so appreciate the feedback and the husky is about 500.00. So decision made ..... Stihl Raintech for sure .. cheers Stihlmadasever.

Can anyone out there tell me if they have tried the Stihl Raintech jacket. I’m looking at that or having to bring myself to the big bucks of buying the husky technical jacket. I know they are totally different jackets. Just trying to see if anyone has anything good to say about them both. Thanks arbormen

Hey Jack ...Yeh nah the boys down at the shop told me never to use it in the wet and it’s the latest model purchased a few weeks ago. So to that I just use it for pruning and mild thinning out. I still load up the old fashioned petrol stuff for a full day out there.
As far as bar use I was pretty dissatisfied yesterday thinning out some Taupara (Rubiaceae) and it struggled. Great saw for pruning though !!! No kickback like it’s older brothers
