If you're referring to the helmet it's to do with the plastic becoming brittle but as long as it's been in a box they didn't mind on our course, within reason of course.

    Thanks gdh,

I've just contacted a friend, he's going to get me a new husqvarn helmet,

    So that should be ok,

  2. Hi

I bought it about three weeks ago of bloody eBay

Time to send it back, and tell them to stuff it somewhere, to sad thing is,

I only use a chainsaw for about two weeks in a year, for fallen branches, and to trim small trees, that's what you get

trying to save a bit of money,

It's been a bad year for grass cutting, only lost about 6 grand,

Never mind it's growing now, slowly,

    Thanks for your help,

    Mark

  3. Hi good people, new to arbtalk, and not sure if I'm on the right bit, to ask a quick question,

Been using a chainsaw for about 30 years, but now been told to do a chainsaw course, just got all new PPE stuff ready for the course, and now been told it's out of date, just a bit confused, it's still in its boxes, so how come it's out of date if it's never been warn, please could someone give me some advice,

    Many thanks mark
