  1. Thanks Tree Monkey 1682. I'll contact TW. The anvil is as rounded off as hell so gives the effect of a large gap i guess. I've got dull and chipped blades, an anvil that is like the edge of a kitchen worktop - so no wonder I've got chips and spaghetti. Hydraulic oil is a good suggestion too. There's a likelihood that it's as old as the machine 😪
  2. Hi. I'm new to Artalk (but I like it lot so far). I've had an old towable Entec / Timberwolf 2004 TW75 230H with an air cooled Detroit diesel for a while now, and it has been pretty useful for my limited needs. It has started producing stringy and big lumpy pieces so I know i need to get a bit sharper here and there. The blades are identifiable enough, and while they still have some life in terms of grindabilty and distance from the wear line, I am confident of sourcing new ones and fitting them. The anvil, on the other had, looks like almost impossible to replace....anyone got a manual, or better still, some experience on this aspect? Also, the anti-stress doesn't work anymore. I assume it can determine the revs are up to 3300 because the rollers start fine, but can't detect the reduced speed?. Any help and pointers gratefully received. Thank you. PJ
