  1. Speak to Stephen Cull at Blademaster. Not only does he sell and resharpen blades for the mills he also does sawmill servicing and training. Spent 30 years working for and operating a Wood-Mizer mill so he knows what he's doing. He's also a really decent guy!

  2. You should try Ripper37 blades from Dakin-Flathers, much better than the Woodmizer ones.

The Ripper37 Sawmill Bandsaw Blade is a premium blade for primary wood processing, timber-ripping and resaw applications. The professional sawyers’ choice.

They don't sell direct to the public but Stephen Cull sells them online. They do all the different widths and thicknesses, I'd give him a call. He also does a resharp service too.

Get all your Ripper37 sawmill blades, bandsaw blade resharpening, Wood-Mizer sawmill servicing and sawmill training service from Stephen Cull BladeMaster. Call now...

  3. It's just market price for that country. If you look at blades on Wood-Mizer's USA site they are cheaper than in the UK, just don't look at the difference in machine prices from USA to UK as you may explode!! We always pay more for stuff over here!!

I use Stephen Cull too, can't fault them or him.

  4. You should get them from Stephen Cull and order Ripper37 blades.

    https://www.stephencullblademaster.com/product-page/woodland-mills-hm126-ripper37-blades

Best blades on the market plus he has a resharp service. Also offers sawmill training and advice (30 years as a sawyer with his own mill!!)

  5. Choice of blade once you have the mill is pretty important too as there is a huge difference in performance and blade life between brands. You can't go wrong with some Ripper37 blades from http://www.stephencullblademaster.com/ , he resharpens them too.

He's also an owner operator with over 25 years experience so there isn't much he hasn't seen or done with a mill. Be worth talking to him to get his opinion, very approachable.
