He wasn't sure if they are really used any more being old he's still not fully on board for selling it but since it's been 10 years and he's a scaffolder now he really doesn't need to keep it apart for the odd family job (which I'm sure a hedge trimmer would do just a good job) it just sits in the shed taking up space!

Hi, Today I was clearing out the shed and have finally convinced my other half to part with his stihl 044 chainsaw but what do we do with it? He is no longer a tree surgeon and his old company shut down because of his boss passed away so we have no one to ask and I was hoping someone on here could help. Is this worth anything we believe it's a 1997 model but will confirm for definite tomorrow when he services it and checks it still starts (it did 6 months ago when he cut a family members hedge with it) it should be in good working order although to look at is a bit rough around the edges but that's to be expected after 20 years.
