  1. Ah found it - thanks! It doesn't look to be in the best of condition - has a bit of the plastic around the edge peeling away and it is definitely not spinning freely - it does move but needs quite a bit of force.

  3. Thanks for the replies everyone! I've finally managed to get the time to get the saw apart. Clutch spring looks like this: It looks quite stretched at both the top and bottom (the picture makes it look better than it is!) and isn't snapping back into place. However - this is the first time i've ever really seen a chainsaw clutch spring so I am not exactly sure how they are meant to look Am I on the right track here? Also - there was a suggestion to check the oil pump drive - what would be involved in that? Thanks all
  4. Hi All! I'm looking for some help with a little 135 that I have acquired The chain turns when I pull the starter, and also when the saw is running. A bit of internet research makes me think that the clutch is at fault and needs replacing. No issues with doing that, but - the clutch which is currently on the saw looks like this one: HUSQVARNA 235/E,236/E,240/E - GENUINE CLUTCH ASSEMBLY | eBay But from what I can see on the parts diagram here http://www.power-garden.ru/upload/iblock/47f/47f4663d9a92f3b5b758806194923f28.pdf it is different, and seems to share the part number of the 435. Does anyone know if the part has been superseded, or if I've got the wrong clutch fitted to the saw at present? Thanks!
