We're currently seeking climbers to work in Hong Kong with our company: Asia Tree Preservation, Ltd. (ATP) https://www.atptree.com.
Over the past 10 years, we've had at least a dozen climbers from abroad work with us here, so we know the process of relocating here, visa application, etc.. Contact me if you have any questions, happy to answer and discuss.

Climbing Arborist Scope of Work:
- tree pruning
- tree rigging and removal
- chainsaw use
- tree support system installations
- level 3 assessment – aerial assessment
The position may at times also require some other types of work such as:
- tree survey and inventory for inspection of large numbers of trees
- tree assessment for evaluation of health and structure
- tree health care assessment and treatment strategies
- airspade for tree root assessment and health improvement
- advanced tree risk assessment including sonic tomography, resistograph, air spade, soil testing and analysis
- various other aspects of consulting
This is a great opportunity for arborists to gain more experience in many different aspects of arboriculture, and at the same time, experience.
Regarding the current coronavirus situation, Hong Kong has it pretty well managed (much better than other places). Our work is still very active right now.

This is the 10th anniversary of the International Arboriculture Summit.Hosted by the Institute of Arboriculture Studies (Hong Kong) and co-organized by the Institute of Vocational Education, the theme of this year's summit is:Additional educators include Dr. Rich Hauer, Mark Duntemann, Dr. Linda Chalker-Scott, Dr. Duncan Slater, Dr. Brian Kane, Frank Rinn, Dr. Giovanni Morelli, Dr. Kathleen Wolf, and Peter Macdonagh.The 3 days will consist of 11 internationally acclaimed speakers, dozens of topics, 35 hours of potential CEUs through lecture and field training. Topics will be related to tree risk assessment, tree biomechanics, tree health care, technical diagnostic methods of assessment, tree pruning, tree support systems, human health benefits, and much more.Summit Venue: Institute of Vocational Education - Shatin Campus, HONG KONGConvenient location near the MTR (Mass Transit Railway)Who Should Attend?Each year, we are pleased to have attendees from all around the Asian region. We are a company located in Hong Kong since 2007. We're currently seeking experienced climbers to work here with our company: Asia Tree Preservation (ATP)
Regarding the current COVID status in Hong Kong, in comparison to other parts of the world, Hong Kong is a pretty safe place to be right now. New cases have been kept to a minimum. Relocation to Hong Kong will still require some quarantine at a hotel on arrival here.
