  1. Out of the two both running 36" bars what wins? Just curious as to what others think but honestly having used both the 395 has a lot more torq and grunt and speaks for itself!
  2. Can someone please shed the light on these saws and there differences? I'm looking at both of these and I'm unsure which one to go for!
  3. Just wondering what you guys like to use for your lowering blocks, personally I love the marlow whoopie slings, really easy to set up and time efficient when on a big take down!
  4. Hi there just curious as to what qualifications I will need to set up my own business as a tree surgeon, if I get all nptc qualifications will I be classed as an arborist or not? Or is that a seperate qualification and if so where do you go to do it? -Topcat
  5. Same here Steve I know it's frowned upon lol but we're all guilty of it Iv never had a log or branch slip yet from just using a karibiner but when I know things are getting heavier I ensure what's tied is tied!
  6. Hi all just curious as to what hitch you all prefer to use when Lowering off limbs and the main trunk I use a running bowline accompanied with a half hitch for backup and sometimes I'll just get a sling wrap it around the trunk and connect the rigging line to it with a karibiner!
  7. Hi all I am just curious as to what bars you think are best to use with this saw I personally like Oregon bars over Husqvarnas own, what I want to know is running the 18" just as good and fast as running the 15"? Or do you loose performance going up a bar? Cheers, TC
  8. I'm going off all of the reviews about the saw breaking lots of people have said the same thing about the saw breaking in certain places caused by little impact I thought I'd still buy it for the performance anyhow and then it happens to me so honestly no it's not had s big impact
  9. Will it not be coverd then under warranty?
  10. Rear AV Spring "http://i68.tinypic.com/qn60yc.jpg"
  11. I hope there is a solution I'm so annoyed to be honest it shouldn't be happening so soon I known the work they do is hard and they put up with A lot of workload but cracking so soon?
  12. What do you think of the wear? image sharing
  13. I'm going to tomorrow morning I just hope they sort it for me Typical having breaks when it's hardly been used expensive equipment should last
  14. The thing that annoys me the most is the fact it's been new out of the box and on day 2 it starts splitting/cracking at the seems almost like the saw is made of margarine I don't know how there going to fix it for me I know the part is £80 I don't fancy shelling that out after iv spent £550
