So I'm pretty handy at a double braid splice and make all my own eye to eyes. You guys think if I wanted to splice onto each cheek of a pinto it would be easier to learn the tenex splice or stick with a double braid one?
Is it a bit of a ball-ache or does it pop in without too much bother?

Hi Dave,
It really doesn't matter to me how I fix the pulley on as long as it remains retrievable. The eye to whoopie sounds interesting. I've not seen one of those before. Is that what you use?

Hi all,
I want to make a pulley saver but I'm struggling to find any info on the splice necessary to fix a pinto onto an eye to eye.
I believe the first is a locked Brummel. What's the deal with the second one?

That's great, I reckon I'll have a crack at both and keep you guys posted. You using standard Samson instructions for those (locking brummel and tail bury)?
