  1. Yh transits, seen you can buy fobs online that unlock transits for like £25-£30
  2. Yh got everything, landlord wouldn't show us & police wouldn't give us plate details but they have it all on cctv
  3. That's what I'm saying, I'd learn to you prussick although I wouldn't be alone anyway but I'd learn it for a decent on a mechanical failure but why master a prussick when I want to you a spider? I appreciate all opinions as I know nothing tbh lol but I think most old school well knowledged stick with what they know as they don't know any different or feel the need to change but to me the spiderjack looks like a whole new ball game for accent & decent & also branch changes etc????
  4. Well everyone swears by it but I'm The youngest on the firm & people don't like change, my personal opinion was don't knock what you don't know ie what get used to the prussick that everyone is used to & knows (learnt to know) when I can start with a system that I can master & stick with?
  5. Heard exactly that, I have been lucky enough to fall on my feet with a temp job & permanent once have climbing ticket. He's helping me out with the tickets as well & has recognised my interest & determination, always wanted this but fell into window cleaning as a stop gap & spent 7 years doing it on really good pay but don't enjoy it. I spoke to plumton & got all courses sorted & my mate (that got me the job) & my boss have said they are useless & don't basically train in the real world lol (commercial) found Scott messaged him so just wanted some feedback. Really glad to hear it so will have my first course booked next week for next month cs30/31 & then will jump to climbing/aerial rescue followed by aerial cutting month after. Buzzing can't believe i have fallen on my feet like I have & it's great to have a community like this where we can ask people with experience rather than the guy in the shop that sells the gear with no idea lol Thanks everyone
  6. Awesome going to book the 5 day combined course cs30/31 next week then skip to climbing/aerial rescue & aerial cutting next month. Everyone has said go private (**** plumton) & Scott was the name that kept popping up. Thanks again
  7. Yes I have heard this hence why you tie safety knot but really appreciate the advice will get a prussick mastered before playing about with other systems
  8. Exactly that? Or like us we do groundwork/landscaping as well so never loose business
  9. My bad only watched the promo video https://honeybros.com/Item/ART_Spiderjack-3 has anyone got the 2.1 & if so what do they think? Lost of mixed reviews
  10. Who's got a spiderjack & what's your thoughts?
  11. Anyone used Scott Fraser training before? Treework Training Courses | Chainsaw Training Sussex | Arboricultural Training in Sussex | Treework Training Courses from Scott Fraser
  12. Had stolen br 600 magnum blower & a brand new HL 100 long reach hedge cutter stolen in Erith today. Vauxhall zafira blue, luckily we spotted cctv opposite at a pub so called the police & they got the whole thing. They were there for 8mins on a busy road with passerby & very close to us. Van was locked as well so police said they used either a jammer or programmed key fob as even left cab locked after.
  13. Try the princes trust & further education loans with direct gov
