  1. Ok thank you. I look forward to hearing from you with the information.
  2. Thank you Chris. I'll check it out.
  3. Can someone please advise me? We have a very overgrown beech hedge about 20ft. tall and 100 yards long. We live in Cardiganshire and have been given a quote to lay the hedge. One quote is for "Cardi" style and the other was for "Pembrokeshire" style. Could someone tell me if these are genuine styles of hedge laying? If so, where could I find some images to look at online? Thank you,
  4. That's a good one. You've made me laugh.
  5. Yes, thats the plan.
  6. Thanks. I'll keep this in mind.
  7. How much could I expect to pay per tonne for decent 20-25% dry hardwood logs in Mid-Wales? Collected price would be helpful as delivery costs will vary. I'm contemplating installing a 40kW Log & Pellet Dual biomass boiler and need a reasonable estimate of fuel costs for logs. Could anyone point me towards reliable registered suppliers? Thank you Torchy
  8. Thank you both for your advice.
  9. Hello everyone I'm new to this forum but need some advice about a tree we have in our farm yard. I'm not sure which section to place this post so here goes. The tree we think is a black poplar or hybrid poplar we have no idea how old it is and at a guess possibly fifty to eighty years approx. We are having the crown removed leaving a reasonably straight trunk with no branches. Does anyone think there is a value in this or should I cut it for firewood? The trunk is about twenty five feet long and about three feet and tapering down to two feet in diameter. Thank you.
