I don't think that I over engineering the problem, why not make something better when it could be done ? even if it is something as simple as a throw bag Besides I just like to experiment with different materials, to check how they will perform in a variety of applications and conditions...and of course for training and fun. ps. sorry guys and girls for my poor English

Are you happy with Liros ? never used it. My favorite is Gleistein Polyethylene throw line. Gleistein - Productsheet: Throw Line PE It's a little bit stiff and not as as strong as Liros but really cheap and very slick, you can get it in 100 meters spools for something like 12 GBP.

Yes, it's much safer for you and for the environment if the bag burst, also in addition if you are using shot with a high chromium content you do not have to worry about rust coming out of your throw bags if they get wet ( compared to regular high carbon shot ). On the other hand throw bags with steel shot are much bigger than lead shot because of density of steel ( 7,87 / cm3 ) vs. lead ( 11.34 / cm3 ).

I plan to do it in the next series, in addition it will be made of a different kind material and other thread, to be specific it will be aramid woven fabric ( with a rubber bladder inside ) and spectra thread but only if I'll be able to get needle for this kind of thread.

Hi, just want to show you another set of my DIY throw bags. from the right to left the weight is: 1. 180 gram - 6.3 ounces 2. 320 gram - 11.2 ounces 3. 320 gram - 11.2 ounces 4. 420 gram - 14.8 ounces 5. 400 gram - 14.1 ounces Those two heaviest are filled with steel shot and works great with magnets. First crash-tests passed successfully, but there are still few things to improve. what do you think ?

I have treeup harness with is the same as treehog. To be precise those harnesses are made in Poland by "Protekt" company and then rebranded to treehog etc. you can get it for about 550-600 PLN brand new ( about 100 GBP ).Those you can buy in Poland are green insted od orange. Hello everyone ! Im looking for full time job in tree industry preferably close to Blackburn, but if necessary I can move anywhere in the UK, I have Polish chainsaw operator and logger license, did tree worker course (arborist course) in Poland as well. I will do any English certificate if need. I am honest and I like to work hard. I can work both as groundsman and climber / second climber. I have my own basic gear for start. Best Regards ! Piotr
