  1. Great, I have messaged you tonight along with some photos.
  2. I have 3 large oak (1.2m wide by 2500mm long) that I would like milled up into slabs. No issue with access, recently moved to a hard standing. I am in the Hertfordshire area. Keen to get an idea on day rates and consumable costs to know if it is worth doing. Anyone interested in this ?

Residential property easy access. Hardwood suitable for slabbing, wood turning most welcome. Failing that happy with firewood too. No conifer please. Small loads only please max 5 cubic metres. please contact ahead of arriving to ensure we have space.
  4. Hi dan494, I am not picky with the type of wood I am appreciative of anything that burns after seasoning.
  5. Are there any local tree surgeons ( Harps, Luton ) that want to get rid of some logs/rings. I can collect via a trailer if it is accessible. I can probably take a truck load ( I will probably share it with my neighbour) so I can chainsaw up and an store for next winter.

If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.
