She wants to reduce it quite a bit as it's on a boundary hedge. Has had the top taken out before so growing outward! Looked at it again today, Defo not very well. Also can see where limbs have been hacked off before and have all died!! [emoji848][emoji21]Why does she want to cut anything off? -
Yeah, have advised the customer to wait and see, she wants to press on though! Not sure how much can be cut off without going too far and messing up the regrowth?Might it be better to see how the tree recovers/produces new foliage first?
Answer might depend on how busy you are.[emoji3] -

Hi,
Has anybody had any experience in pruning Mexican weeping pine-trees?
I have a customer with quite a large one.... which appears to have been damaged by the frosts, not quite sure where to start??

Thanks Charlie, sounds just what I was on about.... Gonna go buy one [emoji1]Hi mate, think you probably mean a sand-o-flex. Its a sander that has lots of strands of abrasives used in a drill. You can burn the carving and then use the sand-o-flex, gives a nice finish...
they sell them herehttps://www.gustharts.com/machinery-c123/chainsaws-accessories-c142/carving-c311/sand-o-flex-p1399
Happy carving.

Hi All,
This is my first post as I don't get too much time to carve [emoji852]️
When watching YouTube you see the carvings being buffed with something attached to a drill. Gives a nice finish!
Just wandering if anyone knows what it's called & where I could get one! [emoji2]
Thanks

Hi all,
Just wandered if anyone knows where you can buy the refills for sandoflex flap Sanders? Gustharts used to be the go to supplier - but no longer seem to keep them! "Really miss them "!!
Thanks
