  1. Hi all. Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the organisers and all of our customers new and old who came to see us at the show. You were a notably friendly bunch and we will not hesitate to come back next year. Many thanks once again from the UTV Products team.
  2. I'm running a brace of amber units, and I did a test a year or so ago when I first built up my vehicle. The difference in amber pattern makes a huge difference to the way people respond to them, assuming they are decent units.I run a twin flash alternating pattern around the whole vehicle, and it seems to make everyone wake up a bit. You'll always get the odd rangerover driver that deliberately tries to push past you / run you over when trying to stop traffic for a reason though.
  3. Aha good to put name to face. Send us some pictures if you wouldn't mind! Took me a minute to work out which late night buyer you were haha. Glad you are happy.
  4. We can supply individual units with wiring looms but not as a whole, because there are so many variations! We don't hold much stock of amber strobes, at the minute we have LED single beacon replacements as well as bolt mount and flat mount strobes. We also have a small range of amber & white strobing single direction lightbars and will hopefully be starting a range of "traditional" twin sided amber strobe lightbars in the near future.
  5. That was us at Ripley Castle hehe. We get around the country a bit!
  6. There is a VAST difference to "identical" looking lights sold on eBay and those through reputable suppliers such as ourselves. You are correct in saying that they do come from China, however when purchasing and sorting the specification on the units, there is often up to five different quality standards for each of the parts within the light. The main ones are the LED chip itself used, and the driver circuitry. Many of the cheaper brands use low quality LEDs and often use one driver circuit to power all the LEDs onboard, stressing the components, as opposed to the other end of things with multiple circuits per unit. From what I have heard from our customers who come to us after purchasing LED lighting off eBay, the failure rate is pretty high when the kit is put into a working environment, with the warranty support being very poor. Make what you will of the lower prices on eBay, but unless I was happy to purchase something that could be considered a "throwaway", I'd personally avoid cheap and cheerful. cheers
  7. Mendip, you might want to clear your PMs. I cant reply to you haha!
  8. Hi Gents. We are on Stand E9 and will be looking forward to you popping in!
  9. Hey Mark. Are you coming down to the Arb show? If so, it might be worth you popping in to UTV Products to have a chat about your requirements. You can get plenty of cheap kit off Ebay, but we hear from a lot of people that in general the kit is just crap, and lasts about two weeks when properly used. Cheers.
