  1. Thanks for the suggestions. May be my only option. I'm down in Sussex.
  2. Hi All, New to the forum. My name Harry and I run a gardening landscaping business. I am hoping to learn a lot from this forum as we branch out into doing more tree work and woodland management. I have had a job come in to coppice and clear some dead and dangerous tree's (mainly ash, laurel, hazel and smaller oaks) from 1 1/4 acres of woodland. The family want the wood made safe for their children. I do not have big rig gear like tractors etc... and there is no access to the wood (it lies in a big pit). Is it possible for me to hook up an electric winch to a large tree base as an anchor and then winch out some of the larger tree's from this pit area once felled? What sort of winch/power would I be best looking for. Thanks in advance.
