Hi my name is Sophie, my dad was the driver of the bus the tree fell on. I would really appreciate it if I could ask you a couple of questions regarding your comment and gain your opinion about the tree. If that's ok my email address is [email protected] or mobile 07557141368

Thank you

 2. I would just like to thank everyone so far for your help, we really appreciate it and there has been some fantastic answers/conclusions. Thanks again
 3. What a terrible thing to happen to you. But in the case your comment is clearly not what we are looking for. This is a professional site so let's keep it that way. We're looking for professional points of view, not judgement.
 4. Hi Jesse, I believe it is just photographic evidence but will find out some more info...the tree is owned by the parish council and like you say was directly under the bus stop! You really know your stuff! Do you think this fungus had been overlooked then, looks like it had been riddled for a while? Surely if it is so rotten in the inside this would take several years not just one? And with regards to Shane if this had happened to a family member of yours would you not want to follow it up more to point the finger. Or are you telling me you would just brush it off as an accident and move on? "Oh well **** happens!?" I don't think so
 5. after much to and fro they have decided to close the case with no further investigations.. the case has just been reopened and we have been given 4 months to try and find blame… is three years too long to inpect a tree so close to the roadside? please see document below https://scontent-b-lhr.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/v/t1.0-9/10320317_1559749470929978_1863376662855644473_n.jpg?oh=c984b37c9c84dfd83c720df2cb90bb04&oe=552F8637
 6. Do you remember that poor bus driver that got hit by a tree in Witley on 3 January 2012 at 8.15.. well his daughter Sophie has been trying to find out and seek answers to this day and find out who is responsible.. I have created this thread to try and get some professional thought on the condition of the tree when it fell?? (please see images of possible fungus).. and how often a tree of this kind should be inspected?? any help would hugely appreciated!! Apologies for the poor quality images.. unfortunately its all i have *some images are graphic* https://www.facebook.com/pages/Andy-Cavanagh-Who-is-responsible-for-the-accident/1559737620931163?pnref=story
