  1. I posted this a couple of weeks ago and we are still looking for UK arborists using less than 3 horsepower saws.  If you took it before and did not qualify you might try again as we have expanded the size of guide bars that would qualify for this test.  Thank you!

Oregon will be conducting a large field test for users of less than 3HP chain saws. Please take this short survey to see if you qualify for this test that will start July 2018. This brief survey should take 3-4 minutes of your time.

All those selected for the test will receive free product to trial as well as $50 in Amazon or Oregon merchandise gift cards or $100 redeemable for Oregon products at www.oregonproducts.com after successfully completing the trial.

Take the survey here to see if you qualify: http://surveys.blount.com/survey/selfserve/203a/180504

Don't qualify this time? Register for free at www.outdoor-power-opinions.com to be considered for future field tests, surveys and interviews. Each time you contribute or refer others you can earn points that can be redeemed for gear or merchandise.

This OPE field test and opinion community is sponsored by Oregon®, but there is no requirement to use Oregon brand products to join.

  7. Thanks for the outpouring of interest already - a very impressive response from the Arbtalk community. As noted, above all else, we want the products to be used in the way you normally would. Good or bad, we want to see the result along with your feedback. If we're lucky and enough testers agree, we may be able to collect the product and your feedback in person.

We're focused more on the saws you have and the chain pitches you normally run, because that allows us to match up your equipment with our cutting systems. I know questions like whether you fall more trees or do more trimming is difficult and perhaps arbitrary - I'm more interested in who considers themselves a Pro vs a Consumer. This is also usually reflected in the equipment.

  8. Oregon® is looking for additional users that are interested in testing our new forestry products.

We have several exciting products in the pipeline, and will have needs for a variety of users to help confirm the performance of our latest innovations before they are available to the general public. Regardless of whether you currently use our products or those of a competitor, we want your input on how we can better help you get your job done right.

If you are interested, check out the link below where you will find some additional information as well as the actual application:

Arbtalk moderators: Apologies, please feel free to locate this in the most appropriate sub-forum. This is not a sales or marketing effort - nothing is being sold. I linked to the company website instead of providing a direct link to the application to eliminate any question of authenticity. I don't think this violates any of the forum rules, but if so please let me know how I can adjust the post.
