We've got a tmk 300 on our 8ton takeuchi with tilt which works well. I've got a friend with an omef on a 13tonner which he had a couple of issues with (due to heavy use) but all fixed and he's happy with it.

Looking to put a shear on my 8 tonner. What would people recommend. Tmk, omef, jak?

I’m pricing up raking and burning a clearfell site. Can anyone give me some guidance on rates. It’s on a moderate slope but just about ok with tractor. Thanks

Looking for a reliable sub-contractor to help out in South Shropshire. Will be a mixture of collaborative working and subcontract work.
Probably 2 days a week to start, then with the potential to increase after trial period.
Mainly arb, but also forestry and fencing skills would be of advantage.
Min CS39 required.
Please send enquiries, preferably with details of skills, experience and equipment to [email protected]
Thanks Alex

I've got one as well, just set them so they are a bit above the floor for general driving and you will be ok. just use until you have a bit of weight on. but to honest as long as you are careful you can get away without using them most of the time, as long as you aren't loading downhill side.

Experienced chainsaw operator required for a mixture of arb and estate forestry work. Initially 2 or 3 days a week but can potentially progress to full time from February for the right person.
CS 30/31 essential, but 32,38,39 would be beneficial. Experience of felling for a skidder would also be helpful. Self employed is a must. Most of our work is in South Shropshire. References will be required.
