  3. Hi David, Thanks so much for replying to my query so promptly. I've looked up Perenniporia and Rigidoporous and see what you mean about the similarities. I'm not an expert on the fungi but I think you were spot on with Perenniporia. I will attach a couple more pics of a cross section of the bracket showing the tube layer (on another thread - not sure how to do it in this reply) just so there's no doubt. I'm more than happy for you to add all these photos to your 'Fungi Directory' should you wish. I don't think these trees should be given the 'kiss of death' ... I'm all in favour of managing them for as long as possible. Jeff.
  4. Can anyone identify these Bracket Fungi growing on two Robinia pseudoacacia in a private estate in Wandsworth, London - and advise about the implications to the health of the trees. We have been told that they need to be destroyed because they are diseased. Pics attached. Many Thanks. Jeff.
