  1. Hi just posted over on the main forum so not quite new here... Wondered if anybody here has ever used a "Ripsaw" made by "Better Built Corporation" in the US. I once saw one in use many years ago and it seemed pretty good. V. fast and lovely smooth finish. It's like a bandsaw on a chainsaw body. If you have what did you think of it? Cheers Justin
  2. Hi, new here, hope you can help me with a chain brake problem. The brake will not engage when the saw is hot. The saw (Stihl MS660) is new to me but second hand. Had a new brake handle fitted (old one was bendy) before I encountered this problem. I'm milling large sections of oak so it's working quite hard and getting quite hot. If I cool the saw down by leaving it a while or by setting about it with compressed air it suddenly works again perfectly well. Any ideas anybody? Cheers Justin
