  1. So i can burn anything then? Sweet cheers steve I will look more into it, Also do you know about differenet trees which burn and smell different?
  2. So I'm starting to learn more about wood and it's property's. Softwood is a simple taboo to some people but I'm beginning to like the stuff. What are people's opinion on the subject and can you name me the best softwood to burn if any love any help cheers

  5. Hey there! Have a yard but not secure and need a machine that is portable to take off and on the van to split wood in large amounts? anything that is quicker then axeing? Also any idea on the same but with getting wood chip on the back of the van without hiring a machine?

  7. Hey there! Just started doing tree work in Feb this year and getting to grips with it all. One major problem I am having at the moment is tree id. and understanding the health of the tree like cracks in the treeline or seeing dead wood in the winter. Has anyone got any tips?
  8. Hey There, My name is john. I am looking for tree companies around me to offer me days for work. Available all week including weekends. Available for emergency work as well anytime within reason. My day rate is £80 pounds per day until 5pm where it is £10 overtime an hour. I have been Working as a groundie since Feb this year. I have an understand on using basic chainsaws such as stihl. Also using a chipper and some experience lowering branches etc from dismantling. I have tickets such as CS30-CS31.
