  1. we have a large mature common field ash tree in our garden, but this year the foliage seems less dense than last year, and there are a number of dead smaller branches at the periphery and in the crown. Is this just typical for this year or is it a more ominous indication that the tree is coming to its life end or has some disease? As the tree is fairly near the house and would damage the house if it fell on it, it is a cause for worry. Any help/advice would be appreciated and thanks in advance.
