I have to agree with all mentioned above. My impression was perfect all the time. I like the relaxed atmosphere of Martin's as well as Roland's courses. I came to England just three weeks ago and sometimes I struggle with the language, especially colloquial speech. But it was no problem for both instructors. When I didn't understand something, they were willing to repeat it for me again before I got it. Because of this fact, I can recommand this course for foreigners as well. When I was asking about some organizational extra things like a job searching, I was always given advice.
Cheers Martin and Roland,
looking forward to next week!

Hi all,
sorry if there is a thread like this, but I'd like to specify my own situation.
My name is Vojtech (Adalbert in English:-)), I'm 27 and I come from Czech Republic. I work as a Mechanical Designer of chainsaws for Stihl. This job is pretty good, but I've been thinking to change my career for a few months.
Most importatnt reason is that I'm do interested in this industry, I love climbing, beeing outdoor and working with a chainsaw too. In short, I think this job is good for me:)
I would like to spend about one year in the UK to learn basics and improve my English. I have checked several possibilities how to begin, but I'm still a little confused.
It doesn't really matter about the place where I'll be work and learn for next few months (in the UK).
There si a lot of short-term courses about 4-6 weeks, usually very expensive
(for me as a foreigner). But if I won't find another option, I'll take it.
A few colleges offer an apprenticeship, when you can learn and earn money at the same time. But I don't now if exists any chance for me to get it, I'm not from the UK.
Could you give me some tips and tell me your experience please? Thank you very much!
