  1. Acorn 5210A is what I've been using for the last few years, for the money it's very useful. I have it set so that it takes a piccy and a 45 sec video. The cyclists that kept trashing my fences so they could ride through the woods soon stopped when I countered their denials with video of them doing it!

I wanted to find out who was leaving trash in a gateway, discovered my to my amusement that the gateway appears to be a local illicit shagging hotspot.

Couldn't agree more, Acorn 5210A is a great bit of kit. Well worth the investment.

  2. Had a new spare spark plug in the cupboard so changed it over and things seem to be back to normal (for now at least)......let the saw fully cool, choke, cough on first pull, turn on..fires straight away and runs/idles normally.

Hi, I'm having the exact same problem with my 5121. I've just put new plug in and no joy so far. Will try again in the morning after its settled again, I suspect the weather may be a cause as it's real hot and muggy here.

Did it work long term for you ?

  3. Bit of a random question really, what do folks use to carry their chainsaw tools in, ie combi spanners, spare chain, filing clamp, files, brush etc ? I was using a zip up trainer bag but the zips giving out.

It has to fit in a backpack. Just interested and looking for ideas.

    Thanks

  4. Evening all, I was looking at a husq T435 and per our UK sites it's ranging from £380 to £450, then I stumbled across this

    Husqvarna T435 chainsaw with 14" Bar and Chain 35.2cc 2.01hp 7.5lbs BRAND NEW 024761034425 | eBay

It comes from USA at around £257 posted to my door..........but is subject to import/tax costs.

My question is, have any of you bought a saw from abroad and not had to pay the extra costs?

I understand the warranty side of it, if I bought uk based saw I can speak direct to supplier etc etc but at nearly £200 saving, I'm seriously considering the USA option.

  5. That's cheap, your HIRED! :sneaky2:

If I was on Wayne Rooneys wage I could pimp myself out as a freelance climber on £42K a day!!

£42K a day and yet he's only scored 1 world cup goal in this his third tournament. :confused1:

With homelessness, poverty etc in this country, one Man getting 42k a day to play football badly.......makes my pi55 boil. I sometimes question why I brought my boy into the world.
