1. Howdy all again.. I'm still looking for regular work. Got my CS30 and 31 brushcutter cscs card 1st Aid etc etc. Looking for regular work around Newcastle,Durham area either working away or even closer to home. Thanx to the generosity of members I have my own PPE..Anyone got any vacancies? hell I'll even gladly train on how to use a sweeping brush if it means I don't have to work in a warehouse
2. Wow awesome bud .. I will have em off ya if thats ok. ERmmm . dont siuppose ya near newcastle are you. If not I'll obviously gladly pay the postage
3. Hmm .Cheers for advice all .Reckon I better go hunting for some rather than buy off fleabay.
4. So I am better off getting a smaller size then my shoe size . \\cheers bud.
5. Daft question people. Looking @ wellies and have seen a few sites mentioning to get a smaller size then what I normally wear. Anyone bought them a size smaller or did you get same szie as you normally take. Cheers in advance again for advice.
6. Agred Ive seen em on ebay .Gonna be getting myself a pair next week
7. OOh very nice. Looks like it's gonna have to be the wellies then until I start work then I'll go upmarket
8. Ugh sods law lol. On a side note,Do the welly ones get better with wear or will they stay feet shredders? Cos at this moment in time ,I'd wear anything just to be able to start work. (well apart from my birthday suit of course )
9. Hi David.. I feel for ya bud. I'm 38 and originally am from a warehouse background but when all jobs went tits up decided I needed a diff career. I started off doing a training course in horticulture.Level 1 .Then I got bit by the outdoor bug. Lol when ya spent 15 years or son in freezers the british weather feels like a sunny breeze . anyways I contacted my local wildlife trust and rather then be messed about via phone I went down and asked them what violuntary days they have. Since then I trained for over a year with the group .Got my chainsaw license (part funded rest saved for). Now all I got left is to find that job as I have now gotten a pretty good idea what the work entails. All I can say dude is keep at it as there was a point when I never expected to ever leave warehousing.. G'luck
10. Good news I got offered a job. Bad news ,was required to have own PPE. priced up some boots and nearly cried as to how much it's all going to to cost. So should I beg, borrow and steal enough to get some boots or do I just buy a cheap and nasty pair of welly ones? Got a new pair of cheapish safety trousers on order just got gloves and helmet left and then hopefully may be able to talk fella round into letting me have job . Also anyone know where I may be able to buy a secondhand/used pair of boots, gloves, helmets.? Newcastle region.
11.
Soirry forgot to add I've also been a volunteer for best part of 2 years with yorkshire wildlife trust so have a bit of experience out in the field so I aint afraid of getting mucky or cry off at the first signs of a bit of rain <img src="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/smile.png" alt=":)" srcset="<fileStore.core_Emoticons>/emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

12. Anyone got emergency call outs due to high winds Geordie land way ? Need a free worker. Got my CS30 and 31,cscs card and first aid. Only thing lacking is some experience. So if ya want a donkey to do some work lemme know. mai me [email protected]. Way I see it if I can prove myself as a capable worker I may yet be able to gain a job
