  1. heathen!? It's such an outdated term.

I prefer to think of myself as Almightily challenged.

Really looking forward to the Norway pics:thumbup:

I heard the other day that you can buy 10 acres with a cabin in the wilds of Sweden for £20,000! Does anyone know if this is realistic, or did the chap think I was Bjorn yesterday?

yeah not far off but the council tax is a lot

  2. Hi all, as above, does anyone know of any tree work in france from july? after a recent injury has delayed me going to new zealand, iv decided to stay in europe untill at least christmas, and have been considering working in france as i love the place. If not does anyone have any advice or tips about working over their? Cheers

  3. Thanks lads basically I'll get a belt on my way home in the morning and change it at home. From memory it only goes round two rings as in it only looks like it powers the alternator, their is only two belts in total of the top of my head I think. It's about half an hour drive only it's just down the duel carriage way so I didn't want to chance it . How longs best to charge it for in th norning?

  4. Evening all, just a quickie for you landy people, got a defender with a 200tdi engine in- from a disco- and I'v snapped the alternator belt whilst out. My question is, if I jump it in the morning and charge the battery, would it be driveable to get me home? As in does this belt power anything other than the alternator? Also how long is best to charge it for? Cheers all
