Sorry to hear that fella, it totally sucks!! I had a 540xp, 200t, 201t, 550xp, 362, 660, msa 160, 550 blower and hla 85 hedge trimmer and batteries and a load of bars swiped. I just looked into additional security too, thought about setting up some shotgun blanks as a fairly load deterrent as its within a residential area. That would be a nice treat for the ear drums ;)

Sorry to hear that Dominic.  So they drilled the lock and cut the metal?

Yes Steve, they drilled through, levered the doors and cut some of the internal frame. I specifically got this container as it has additional internal security but it certainly didn't stop them. It's a lesson well learnt anyway, I'll be looking for a better storage option for the future. Thanks for your concern, Dom.

  3. Hello everyone,

Just letting you know I've had my container broken into at my yard in the S11 area of Sheffield. I've had nearly £5000.00 worth of chainsaws, blower and hedge trimmer taken last night or the early hours of this morning. Head up to anyone else in Sheffield, to watch out for the robbing bastards!!

    Thanks,
