  1. How can u tell if I'm being professional or not , took a bunch of action shots. 2 sec clips And when you see me running I just got done craning the pine over to another tree ,it was on a porta wrap . I was running over so I could let the rope run and lower it where I was. If I'm not professional and start being professional maybe this year I'll bring more than $600,000$ that's what I did last year Have liability, workmans comp, all my teeth ,office , secratery , 80% of work is commercial contract for housing community's . Cleanups spotless . No damage or injury. Started this business 5 yrs from scratch. Chainsaw and climbing gear. Never took loan and now own bucket, grapple, & chip truck, bobcat, top of line gear and my house I live in ,All paid off and bought from this business cash. Moved to jersey 6 yrs ago . Worked for a tree company for a season saved 10,000 grand bought chip truck and chipper and it took off from there So I would think at least my customers think I'm professional .Thats all that really matters to me , they give $$
  2. Haven't had one accident yet and just to make sure been on everyone about helmets and safety more. I always explain my plan to guys We have good communication
  3. Made two video trailers of work from last year and this year tell me what you think love your guys criticism!!! You guys have a lot of good info on this site I check it out often. Thanks for all your help.
  4. i been using a tachyon rope seems to lasted me the longest found out a smaller dia rope longer clutch lasts been using spider for over year now, ever since my rope slipped cause of clutch I dont trust it as much when walking out on leads
  5. Found a good video editing program. Easy to use and it came with my laptop free check out quality [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-RJOw8Pe7KY]extreme tree removal - YouTube[/ame]
  6. Still editing i just posted it to give a quick follow up to the first vid. Won't have finished it till Sunday. I already put 10 hrs into editing
  7. Some quick clips I put together from job. Sorry not finished editing yet but wanted to share with you guys anyway. Got some vid of the lady that hit me head on during job. She was doing 40mph in 25mph zone. Just folded up, no more than 5 min she ran into me. They totaled out truck, getting new one at end of week. Hope you enjoy .
  8. I'm just guessing on hieght Most of the larger trees that are larger are only in 2 sections of jersey. By PA and north jersey that job is 40 miles from my house by pa. the ones closer to me are on average of 40 to 70 and are not that difficult at all. Cut down maybe 4 or 5 like this a year. heres the rest of that vid hope you enjoy.
  9. Don't use clutch by it self if u want it to run smooth always hold clutch down w/ pionter and middle finger w/ thumb at same time hold brake then release force on thumb to control descent speed when it's time to stop simotaniously release clutch and wooden brake and there be no shock loading no sag
  10. Ilove it especially if you get in a tree with a big canopy I thought I was able to move around before with this thing you could fly.I like the one handed control
  11. Jersey shore u get good $ for trees 1/2 the size u cut down. Tallest tree around here would be a red oak, tulip poplar, or a Norway spruce 70' to 150'
  12. As soon as we moved the bucket truck and parked it on the street a lady ran head in to my bucket truck totalled it out so after I grab a new one I have to go back and grind it. Really messed my week up
  13. $6200 American job took 2 days I picked up the remainder of the wood with my log truck. In the last three months there have been 3 crane accidents so I'm not to confident in the operators around here anymore
