  1. I use a 560 and am doing 3 fills befor 9.30 and then 5 more befor 12 and then 7 befor 4 so that's 15 fills a day that's near 10 litters a day that's brashing and a couple of fills less doing outsiders working for forestry contractors have all my tickets all my own Ppe and my own petrol have to drive 150 mile round trip I don't understand how any one could do it for £100 a day I would give up if that was all you could get

  2. I have both of these saws have had them for 7 months and have never had a problem they are both spot on and I am a full time forestry worker so they have a hard life I used to use huskys but changed to stihl as in a year I went through 4 560xp they are the most unreliable saw they just fall to bits but they are a very fast cutting saw when they are running. In a race a 560 would win but for working with it everyday I would pick a 362 any day

  3. Hi I use a 261 it gets worked hard as it is used for brashing most of the time have gas it for 5 months now and not a problem have used it with a 15 inch bar and 18 no problem running both nice little saw if you have any questions just ask will do my best to answer

  4. Have used both saws all depends on what you are using the saw for the 550xp is a good saw but for use everyday flat out it is less reliable as build quality is not what it used to be. As for the 362 I now have this saw and use it everyday have had it for 6 months and have had no problem at all and you can tune the 362 to your liking but it's up to you really

  5. 560xp worst saw ever I have been using 357xp for 10 years alway were spot on got a 560xp and in a year was replaced 5 times and was in the shop almost every week got so sick took it back and got a stihl 362 tuned it up myself and it cuts like a hot knife through butter with a 18inch bar had it for 6 months and it still works spot on.auto tune sucks and so do the clutch on the 560

  6. We'll use my 261 m-tronic for 4 day brashing and... It's a winner cuts really fast and smooth with plenty of power the filter is really good and easy to clean. Been running it with a 15 inch bar and it's not over heating like my husky 555xp and a fill in the 261 is lasting about 5 mins longer feels well waited and a solid saw

  7. The 362 stihl is 100% more reliable than a 560 I work full time on my saw 8 hours a day had a 560 for 2 years and had it replaced 3 times and was in getting it fixed at least 1 a week they are rubbish they seize all the time and the springs snap in the cluch and the anti vibe spring are week and when hot they don't start very well and my crank snapped on 2 of the saws the gave me my dad used huskys for 30 years and now he uses stihl
