just bought a magnum 600 as the bg 85 was making my arm ache after all the winter leaf blowing.. must say it is very good and gets it done in half the time.

can anybody who has one let us know what they are like please
-
mine did this and it turned out to be the emergency stop button wire that had come loose on the chassis and was touching the side and shorting out.
worth a look
i thought it was fuel also!!!

i bought a cs 100 2 years ago from orange plant who were very helpful on %0 interest. i do gardens and arb work. i am so pleased with it, i can get it into gardens as its small enough. it will do conifer or privite.
it really is a top machine, i can't recommend it enough.
give me a call if you want to have a chat about it, it was a big decision for me so i know what you are thinking.

Not sure where this thread is going, there are dicks who drive, walk run or cycle, we know this, but there are also people who respect others who run, cycle walk and drive, if you are on a bike, you are very vulnerable to been knocked off and killed or seriously injured. Let's all just respect other road and pavement users. The reason a big group of cyclist ride in a big group is because if they were to ride in a long line the cars would try and overtake them and then squeeze them into the side when they realise they can't get passed.

yep bought the electric one, good to deal with and works fantastic!
-
a cs 100 would do you perfectly, i use a trailer to chip into and carry my chipper in the back of my van with a winch in the back to pull it in.
-
mine is doing the exact same. so would be interested if you get it sorted,

Try orange plant they were very good when I bought one

Check out warm shower forum for loads of advice on long trips
Good luck

Correct method is the primary position, this is left of the center of the road this is where you are most likely to be seen, when a vehicle approaches it's advised to move to secondary position about a meter from the curb but not so that you are squeezed by the driver.
I ride, I teach cycling and also drive. give cyclist room and they will be curtiouse back to you, cycling isn't as dangerous as you think.

This has been great reading for me , having started up just over a year ago and finding quoting for work and getting the price right the hardest bit. I Have just finished a job that I thought would take me and a mate 1 day and ended up taking us three! It rained every day with strong winds and we had to lower a lot of it. Anyhow I put it all down to experience and I have learned a lot and hope I will know better next time.
But I do appreciate you all sharing with me as it helps us newbies
A big to arbtalk

i chuffed about for ages with a shredder, bought a cs 100 last year, i wasn't sure if i would use it enough to justify the money. i couldn't of been further from the truth i use it two to three times a week and am now able to take jobs on that i couldn't of before. its paid for itself already. i wouldn't be without it.
go for it if you can afford to.
orange plant had zero% last year so i went for that. the guys were really helpful.
