A driving licence is not essential but you must be able to get to our base in Piddlehinton. This position requires working away from Monday to Friday, with overnight accommodation and an allowance offered. Salary is dependent on age & experience. Temporary entry level positions but permanent jobs and career progression available for suitable candidates.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, hard working Tree Surgeon. Minimum requirements NPTC CS30/31 & CS38/39. You must have industry experience and a driving license. Towing an advantage.

Position: Utility Arborist

Location: South West

Background

Knighton Countryside Management Ltd are an Ecological and Arboricultural Contracting Company based in the South West. We have recently been awarded a fourth major treeworks contract, three of which are for Utility companies.

We are looking for suitably qualified individuals to work principally in our Forestry and Arboricultural department, although there may be some crossover with our Eco and Fencing work. As we are working near overhead power lines and telephone cables, we are primarily looking for people with qualifications and experience in this area. However, we also have vacancies for general tree surgeons and groundworkers. Permanent positions are available for the right candidates. Some working away will be required.

You will ideally have some, but not necessarily all, of the following;

NPTC Utility Arboriculture Unit 1

Chainsaw, Brushcutter and Woodchipper tickets

MEWP Experience

Hold a full, valid driving license

Understanding of working around and with electricity in accordance to health and safety precautions
