  1. Having difficulty in adding a new topic, looking for a climber to work the odd day here and there, in the Manchester area.... Trafford mainly

No big take downs, just want someone in who knows what they are doing!

    Message me 07572372091

  2. If one of the options is fell it and be done, why not pollard it right back to the trunk almost?

Leave one branch to act as a lung and cut that off when the tree gets going again.

Can look a bit of a bollox but will be a nice looking tree again soon enough. Nature has done a few like that at my place (blown big limbs off) and they grow back again.

Keeps the tree and neighbours are happy.

    Well said! 👍👍👍👍👍

  3. Don't work for nothing dude. £650 day rate for 3 guys. Do it with the extra man, reduces the stress load ect. If they come back with £350 tell them... Maybe man and van would be more suited to your needs, £120/£150 for stump.

I quote a lot, but people are looking for work for nothing.

If you pay peanuts you get monkeys!

    Merry Christmas! 👍🏻

Oh forget to say, that's for the conifer 👍

  4. When contracting for the railways, the payments department required it... Anyone can get my address, I run a business dude, that's my business address. Not where I lay to rest, never the less... If it was! It wouldn't be a problem regardless. 😀

And bank details... What can you do with an account and sort code? You have your account and sort code all over cheque books. You can hardly draw money!

  5. And then post it online with name, address and bank details?

    😳

  6. After my 2nd break in this year and my 2nd disappointing result from the insurance company I wanted to share some advice.

I recently lost 7k of tools in a break in, a mixture of saws and most annoying were my tool boxes of fencing gear. I didn't actually realise I had been broken into as they had done such a neat job of closing everything up and it was only when I went to put the fuel cans for the tractor in the truck I realised.

Now I rang the police told them everything I knew but was still quite shocked over what had happened.

I then rang the insurance company who after a short while told me that my tools aren't covered outside of working hours 9pm - 6 am.... After having an argument with the claims department who basically said tough luck.

Then over 40 days later after my many attempts to contact them failed and the written statement form they said they had sent had not arrived I eventually got a very unsympathetic letter where my calls to them and the police were scrutinised and elements were high lighted. Handy to question me over 40 days later after a group of people have been picking holes in what I told the police.

So long and the short of it is make sure you be as accurate as possible with what you tell the police and claims department, I heard a loud bang at 8pm and went outside but saw nothing so didn't mention it to the police. Axa used this against me.

Make sure you're covered for everything you want, even worth asking what you aren't covered for.

In the 2 robberies I lost a combined 9500 worth of tools which I now have to replace out of my own pocket, so the thieving scum of 2015 have essentially had 19k off me this year.

Sorry to hear this.... How about trust?

  7. Only the Lumpini on a brief stopover, an amazing card, nearly every fight was a corker.

Would love to visit again, but spend more time outside Bangkok.

Thai boxing is an amazing discipline, but I don't even begin to understand it.

I used to really follow boxing in the eighties and nineties, much less so now.

Naseem sparred in our gym in Sheffield when he was about 13.

It was about then I began to realise I was actually shite!

It's all fun an games the sport,

Naseem 😂😂😂, you seen him now?

Thai land is a cracking place. Don't get caught with cocaine though, a friends brother got caught over there with like a gram. Luckily for him his dad's a million air.

Cost them around £120,000 to get out of jail. 😕🔫🔫🔫

  8. You ruined the game!

Fair enough though. I miss doing BJJ, never was great at striking though.

Don't know why, I just really didn't like getting punched.

Dark haired matey lol, I have trained bjj in the past but prefer Thai.

But these days martial arts is full of fools, don't have the time any more to fight train.

Too much like hard work 👎 lol
