Loads of questions at once oh to much. I use 13 mil Yale and I got a 10 mil eye to eye.
I make the vt up before I go up I do it how I looked it up on climbing arborist I put my weight on it then give it a little touch up to dress it the away I go but it just does not seem to be working

Got the hitch climber pulley system a few days ago given it ago a couple of times but I can't get it to work properly at the moment it either bites to much or doesn't bite at all.
So any hints and tips would really help at the mo because it's really frustrating and the thing is going to go flying next time it don't work so HELP

Well that escalated quickly lol

I get that I'm having a moan yes it does annoy me but is there nothing the industry could do to stop these firms or even police it a little bit. I go out quoting a lot I try to give theses people the most sensible price I can and a lot of the time you can just see the person isn't going to have you back. I think that my original question was more on the grounds of morales rather than shoulds
-
I think its a great idea! sell em all your really old dodgy gear. might thin out the competition somewhat!
Now that's not a bad idea lol
-
Ok ok ok I get it that I'm having a right old rant but doesn't it just piss you off a little bit anyone
-
Why are you bothered what other companies are doing?
Concentrate on your own business
I would love to focus on my own business but when I quote for work then every numbty under the sun who has a chain saw and thinks he can do the job for fifty pounds because they have a saw and a harness who they bought off some bloke and that looks easy that's when it pisses me off mate
-
Do you weigh more than a car????
I might do had a few branches snap with me on them lol
-
who says it was comdemed ???????
You would not of climbed with the stuff they were selling mate I don't think I would of trusted it to toe a car around
