  1. I have an MS 230 about ten years old which has not been used a great deal.

Last week it was difficult to start from hot although it started o'k from cold. Now it will not start at all.

I have cleaned the filter, changed the plug and used fresh fuel.

There is a spark at the plug, the compression seems o'k, fuel is getting through to the plug and the muffler is not blocked.

What else can I try before taking it to the repair shop?

    Any suggestions will be welcome.

  2. If concern about the dog in a hot van, and walkies are an issue, then the first one to cross off that list is a Husky

Under no circumstances should a dog or any other animal be left in a hot vehicle.

  3. Will this work if I try it in the shed or garage? Fancied having a crack myself but space in the house is limited.

Perhaps, especially now the weather is warming up. I used to brew in the house which was warmer than the garage. Maybe try two heaters.

  4. When I used to brew beer from kits I used an aquarium heater to control the temperature in the fermenting bin. They are not expensive and the settings can be adjusted. Had to give up the brewing as five gallon barrels

were being consumed at an alarming rate.
