I have a job where the roots from an Oak are causing problems to the customers garage. In his email he suggested pruning the roots back which for obvious reasons im not going to advise.
What others ways could I solve the problem, I know pollarding may stop them spreading but its a large Oak and wouldn't really want to do that, would reducing it help....?

I have a Laurel hedge to plant. The're about 10' high and the area is roughly 25m, i'm struggling on quoting it. How much would you charge for a days planting (labour only x2men)?

Looking at getting a second hand stump grinder 15 to 20hp. Only ever used raycos, any others out there worth considering (or avoiding)?

was wondering if the cheap dremel tool was any good for sharpening hedge cutter blades. Was going to get a grinder but a bit too expensive.

Does anyone know how hard it is to move a tipper body onto a new van.
Ive got an old transit with low miles, engines fine but body's bad so want to get a custom built one, only problem is i'll probably get a new van in a few years, was wondering if i could put the tipper body on the new transit, how hard is it?

Does anyone ues the micro arb truck and if so how do you find it?
Also are there any other similar pieces of kit people are using?

nope not at all.

Im pretty sure it wasn't the throttle cable. It was one of the small wires which goes to the infeed which leads to the buttons at the top of the hopper via a solenoid
