  1. Good to know that what I heard isn't entirely true. Cheers eddiegts. I'm seeking the 'great way of life' as you put it Matthew. Although financial stability is a worry of mine we usually manage to work things out and have a great support network. If the work is there I'd do my damnedest to get it. It seems like a hard think and talk with the better half is in order. Thanks for the messages guys. Great community.
  2. Thanks Paul. I figured tree surgeons would have work all year round but I heard things slowed down in the winter, subsequently they're groundsmen received less hours. As that's the role I'd be focusing my energy on I was a little concerned.
  3. Hi all, I'm 25 and looking to start in the industry and was simply wondering if for a nooby it would only really tide me over financially for the summer? I'm not afraid to get stuck in and will really chase down the work. In the past I wouldn't have asked this question. I would have dived head first, paid for my training and gone hard at the job hunt. Though I've recently become a father and need to put more thought to it as I'm the sole provider. If anyone could enlighten me it would be much appreciated. Cheers, Nate
