Deposits
The contractor may require a 10% deposit from the client for any works being carried out that have a waiting time of more than 14 days - this is to secure the date of booking. This will be reflected on the invoice upon satisfactory completion of the work.
Right to Cancel
‘Notice of the Right to Cancel’ – the client has 14 days to cancel the contract (in writing or e-mail) from acceptance date and to have any deposit payments returned. This does not apply to urgent/emergency work or other such work undertaken at short notice (within 14 days).
In my terms and conditions.

Hi Pete,
It's a Greenmech Eco Arborist 15-20 I believe.
Thanks

Hi all,
Looking at buying a greenmech chipper, I noticed the Top roller tilts to left/right when taking wood in, is this normal for some older models?

Hello I'm looking for work odd days here and there, or regularly a day or 2 a week. I live in Dartford, Kent and after Christmas I'll be looking to fill up the diary throughout the quiet months for me (and future dates if available).
I'm 23 years old, hard working and will earn my money well for the day. I have CS30, 31, 38, 39 and First Aid. Driving and towing licence. Own ground/top handle saw. Would like to stay as local as possible. Happy to ground or climb.
Please message on here or call/text 07864513075
I can also bring along a groundsman for the day if another extra hand is needed.
Thanks 👍

Any good? Im looking at buying one for a first chipper, well, upgrade from my tiny little gravity fed one. Will it handle work everyday, not all big jobs but the chipper i currently have i have to cut up literally every branch to about 4ft long to go through.
Thanks guys!

Not sure exactly how this works, for example, if I were to pay someone for a day's work for example £120, and they invoice me. The total job is £600. Do I pay tax on the whole £600 or claim back the £120 and pay tax on £480?
Thanks guys

Hi I'm a climber based in bexley, Kent. 23 years old, I see myself as a confident second climber with just over 2 and a half years experience.
I'm hardworking, and have my own own transport. Full UK license with towing. Hold Cs 30,31,38,39 and First Aid certs.
Looking for a 4 or 5 day week self employed or PAYE.
Thank you, please email [email protected] or send me a PM.

Thanks guys, I'll be giving you a call when I have set job dates

Hello I'm based in bexley, Kent. Just wondering is anyone knows anywhere I could hire a chipper from for 4 days, and the cost of it.
Thanks!

Got to say I'm not a fan of FB for personal use, but having just created one for LGS the other week I do see the advantages over a website for business promotion.
As long as the photos are interesting and you can put a story to them it's better than shots of all your work on one page (as in the websites theme).
I'm on https://www.facebook.com/lgstreesurgery
Would you be so good as to do the likey things please chaps? I'll go back over the last few pages and do the same.
Thanks
Russ

Getting my first tipper next week, just wondered if anyone has pictures or any ideas on how to build higher sides/box on the back of the body without making it look too cheap and tacky.
Thanks guys

Hi I'm looking for someone who I can rely on with a tipper and chipper on a regular basis on Saturdays. Regular work, either a climber or groundsman not worried! Many thanks just message me with prices etc.

Mine has a line there as if the metal is joined there... Been like that since new

My running costs are £80 per day, based on working 20 days a month, that's not including waste removal or any unexpected bills, or wages.profit. For a 3 man team running 1 3.5 tipper, a small van and chipper.
