  1. My 261 has been fine except for the clutch drum bearing failing , but been good since .

    K .

     

    I heard through the grapevine that a load had to he sent back to stihl due to a failure but never heard what it was... I guess now if the fault has been fixed there's not much to worry about??

    Just wanted some thoughts and opinions on the 261. Had some very mixed reviews!!

  3. 550 xp 50cc saw cracking saw all you will need and more try forest &arb Winchester 01962 857951 speak to Richard or jason are doing some very good deals on Huskys at present. and very good after sales service.

     

    Yeh will probably buy from forestandarb, went in the the other day to have a quick look. Just wanted to get some advice from people in the know first

  4. Looking for something relatively lightweight, being a lass, as much as I hate to admit it I cant be lugging a massive saw round all day...

     

    Timber probably wouldn't be much over 200mm diameter much of the time, will be for some basic felling and playing around making firewood

    Im looking to invest in my first chain saw (so i can stop borrow my other half's!!)

     

    Would appreciate some advice on the best model, been swaying towards a husky much to the dissapointment of the mr haha, being a stihl man himself
