    Running my ms261 on 3/8 now, good little saw, had no problems at all. Been working sweet as a nut every day in the woods since bought it in feb
  2. Joining the land rover club!! Looking for a decent defender 90 in the hants surrey area Struggling to find anything worth a look!! If anyone knows of anything or the best place to start the hunt, please let me know!! Cheers guys
  3. i bought a ms261 as my first saw, running it on a 16" and doing a perfect job, grunts its way through some fair size timber!!

  6. mental!! to be honest I find the 'just lob it under the shelter' approach works quite well!! Just not as artistic....

    I heard through the grapevine that a load had to he sent back to stihl due to a failure but never heard what it was... I guess now if the fault has been fixed there's not much to worry about?? Rach

    Looking for something relatively lightweight, being a lass, as much as I hate to admit it I cant be lugging a massive saw round all day... Timber probably wouldn't be much over 200mm diameter much of the time, will be for some basic felling and playing around making firewood

    Hiya guys, Im looking to invest in my first chain saw (so i can stop borrow my other half's!!) Would appreciate some advice on the best model, been swaying towards a husky much to the dissapointment of the mr haha, being a stihl man himself thanks
