1. Here's my alpine. BCS Volcan 950 dual steer, 91hp.

Not fully put it through its paces yet as I spent all me budget in the tractor! Just got a fork lift for it and have some duals and a flail on order.

Next step is a winch and a timber trailer when I've saved my pennies.

Available for hire with an operator if anyone is interested.f3138f35fcaf02618503bb317cfc7da0.jpg32401295486244be7277d9bfa0ac8a0c.jpg

  2. The an carraro alpine tractor on eBay at the moment at a very good price. Thought it was too good to be true and the email address they've asked me to contact then come up as scam alert on the web.

It's listed in Nesting Cheshire. Watch out!

I'll report it when I get on computer.

  3. Just got a 2015 ford ranger 3.2. had it 2 weeks and the gearbox has gone. Only done 28000 miles. No towbar fitted so it's not been too strained. It should be covered under ford warranty so more of a pain in the arse.

Anyone else had problems with their ranger gearbox?

  4. After getting a new work shop I'm looking to get a complete tool kit so I'm not running back and forth with the same tools. Looking to spend in the region of £300. I'd like decent tools that will last.

Any one seen any good deals or recommend anything?

    Cheers

    Rob

  5. I'm about to buy a tipper and want to know if there's much difference in the grip between single and dual axle.

I'll be on tracks regular so if there's much of a difference it may be with it.

I recently hired 2 with single wheels on and they weren't great but manned for most of want I needed.

  6. Tried the new cs100 out this week. Ploughed through a monkey puzzle and holly no problem. Very happy with it.

One thing I found was that the discharge chute blew off. I had to zip tie it on to stop it. Anyone else had this? I need to take it off to fit it in the garage.

  7. It's quite common over here. A lot of landlords rent properties as house shares. I had a brilliant time when I was in one in Manchester. Meet some great mates that I'm still close to now. Before that place I lived with an old mate in a flat who turned out want paying his share of rent. As it was a joint lease I was responsible for paying his share. I've not spoken since.

  8. I've got an Antonio Carrara TTR4400 used with a 35e winch, woodline multipla10, circular saw, Martin Lishman sprayer and a caroni reverse drive flail its a perfect set up.

BUT for steep, wet ground, I use my Deltrak for mowing as it can handle slopes no tractor including an aebi will touch - 55+ degrees

Looks good. I think like you I don't want it to be a one trick pony. I need it for very wet conditions on moorland. What I really want is a softrak but at£75000 it won't be any time soon! I've seen a few people using alpine and they do a good job.
