    Which is best?

Bit of an update. Asked the local dealer for a devis ( written quote) last week, came in at 1036 euros for Dolmar 7910. Online from rotopino.fr price is 734euros and the makita is 638. How do dealers compete with this?

    Which is best?

    and does anyone know the difference between a 7910, a 7910H and a 7910E

    Which is best?

Thanks for all the comments. I know the Stihl price sounds very unlikely. Something about, if it sounds too good to be true then................................................. springs to mind.
  4. I've been building myself up to buy a Dolmar PS-7910 which I can find online for 779euros. We do have a local Dolmar dealer but his price is a bit more than this. I have now found a Makita EA7900P60E-PM for 638euros for what is on the face of it the same saw. I have two questions. Are these two identical or pretty close to it and is my local dealer going to handle either of them should the need arise? Thoughts gentlemen please. ps a mate 'says' he has just bought a Stihl 660 for 720 euros. If he is telling the truth, would this be a better bet? I'm aware it's a higher spec saw and I suspect it may be more saw and heavier than I really want/need.
